I am Yelena. You can just call me Lena. I am a tailor with over 25 years of experience and I am blessed to do a job that is my passion.
My previous experience includes working for a sewing factory where I made coats. Since I moved to the United States in 1999, I worked for a tailor shop in Hopkins for five years, then I worked for a drapery room in Fridley for two years where I learned how to make beautiful window treatments and upholstery.
In 2005 I started to work for myself and in 2008 I opened my own tailor shop in Champlin. It is a beautiful, inviting, and clean place with two large fitting rooms. It is a big step for me. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them with their sewing projects, clothing alterations, including wedding dresses and leather. I can make window treatments like drapes, swags, valances, corner boards, and shades. I can also sew bedding like comforters, pillows, bed skirts, and sheets.
